What is your commission structure?
We charge buyers a 35% commission on all art work that is sold through our site.
How do I know when my artwork is sold?
Artists are notified promptly at sale inquiry.
When and how is payment made for sold artwork?
The artist will receive their cheque in PKR by authorized delivery company within 30 – 45 days of sale. My Art World also facilitates their buyers with tools like PayPal and bank transfers for transactions. Buyers within Pakistan can also opt for Cash on Delivery.
What do I do once my art is sold?
The company will handle the packaging, delivery and insurance for you. We like to provide our artists with an easy, hassle free art selling experience.
How does My Art World promote my art?
My Art World provides all artists an equal platform for exhibiting their work. We also have “Featured Artists” and “Featured Collections” chosen by our panel and curator; that would give them effective recognition. Social media is also another essential tool we use to promote artists. Selected artists are featured on all our social media pages.
How do I price my work?
For emerging artists who have not had any exhibitions or experience of selling their art, the curator offers free consultancy on pricing and evaluation upon request.
How do I photograph my work?
Precise positioning: the camera must be exactly 90° to the canvas and at a suitable zoom level
Post processing: once you have a good photo, you still need to ensure you have optimized the colour balance, cropped the image and saved in a suitable format.
What should I write in the Artist Statement, Artist Background?
An artist statement can:
1. Clarify your own ideas about your work.
2. Describe your work, in your own words. We do not accept plagiarized material.
3. Be a base for a proposal for an exhibition or project.
4. Be a good source of info for art reviewers, journalists, reporters, etc.
5. Introduce your work to the buying public.
Your artist background should:
1. Define your key achievements.
2. Your cultural and social background.
3. Your career path.
4. Fill a requirement for scholarships, grants/funding, teaching positions, or admission to school.
What is an exhibition listing?
A list of any exhibitions you’ve had In a chronological order with the name of the show, and the gallery.
Does every work of art have a title?
A title is the name an artist gives his/her art piece. If you don’t have one, mark as it Untitled.
How do I determine the medium of my work?
You can sub-categorize your work in the paintings, photography, ceramics/sculpture, digital, mixed media and textiles. For example, a sub-category of painting would be miniature, printmaking or watercolours. For sculpture, we’d like information about the material too, whether it’s made out of plaster of Paris or fiber glass or any other material. If an artist cannot determine the medium they can contact the curator at firstname.lastname@example.org for consultancy regarding the issue.
What is a CVV code and where can I find it?
The CVV, or Card Verification Value, is a three-digit number printed in the signature space on the back of most credit cards. On American Express cards it is a four-digit code on the front of your card. The CVV is designed to reduce credit card fraud by ensuring that the customer has the credit card in their possession.
Why is my credit card getting declined?
Your credit card maybe getting declined for the following reasons:
1. You are not using an accepted credit or debit card.
2. You are entering an incorrect card number
3. You are entering an incorrect CVV number. This number is a three-digit number on the back of your card.
How do I cancel my order?
If you would like to cancel an order, kindly email us your cancellations within 72 hrs. The buyer has to take responsibility to cancel the payments. My art world will only be responsible for cancellation of the delivery.
How can I search for work by a particular artist?
You can search for work by artists by entering their name into the keyword search tool in the Shop page. Individual artist work can also be viewed in the Artist Page.
How much will I be charged for shipping?
Shipping charges for artworks will be added to your account after your checkout in a confirmation email sent to the id you have provided.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The buyer will receive the order within 14 days working days, depending on the geographical location.
Will I have to pay any customs, taxes or import duties if I purchase from an artist in another country?
You will be liable to pay any applicable customs, taxes and import duties on artworks purchased from an artist in another country to yours, unless stated differently in the seller’s sale policy. Please contact your customs office to determine what these charges may be prior to making a purchase.
What if my purchased artwork does not arrive or if it arrives damaged?
We offer insurance for all art work that is sold. In case of damage, the Insurance company is liable to compensate the buyer.

Is art work up for sale?
All art work in the exhibition section is up for sale. Some work in the artist profiles may not be available. Please contact email@example.com for purchase of artwork.
Can I commission artwork from an artist?
Yes. You can let us know kind of artwork you are looking for, eg, portraits, landscapes, sculptural pieces, murals etc and we will get the best suited artist to produce the art work for you.
